This year’s Informal Reunion was attended by 33 revellers…..

Located on the banks of the Leeds Liverpool canal just south of Skipton, this was our first visit to The Rendezvous hotel.
Eleven hardy walkers set off on a refreshing hillside walk during the afternoon, (see photos) not to be seen again until nearly 5pm, doubtless due to a much earned public house pit stop on route! Others took advantage of the hotels facilities until pre dinner drinks at 6.30pm.
Then followed the 4 course dinner with much conversation and table moving whilst catching up on both memories and new adventures
Amazingly, practically all attendees were still going strong back in the bar well after midnight, doubtless partly due to pent up energy from 18 months of Lockdown! As usual, prize for ‘Last person Standing’ went to veteran ‘stay upper’ Tom O’Hare at 3.38am!
After a splendid breakfast in the hotel Conservatory overlooking the hills and canal, guests finally drifted off before noon vowing to return again
